Research Study Opportunity – School psychology and Covid-19 in Canada: Turning crisis into opportunities

Natasha Portela, MSc School and Applied Child Psychology student at the University of Calgary, is conducting a research project entitled School psychology and Covid-19 in Canada: Turning crisis into opportunities. The study aims to explore the experiences and perceptions of school psychologists working during the Covid-19 pandemic in Canada. Information will be collected regarding changes in school psychologists' practice, the challenges and benefits experienced during the pandemic due to these changes, and perceptions of what is believed should be preserved, modified or improved in the school psychology field post-pandemic.

 Participants must meet the following criteria:
  1. Registered or provisional (who are in the process of becoming registered), at minimum, one Canadian provincial or territorial regulatory body,
  2. working full-time or part-time in schools in Canada,
  3.  experienced some COVID-19-related restrictions,
  4.  are English speakers

As per MASP policy, the study has been approved by the University of Calgary Conjoint Faculties Research Ethics Board /REB22-0872.
