Learning Disabilities Association of Canada
LDAC is a national organization that works with and supports the provincial and territorial associations as the national voice for persons with learning disabilities and those who support them.
Resources based on cognitive research have been created and compiled by cognitive psychologists who specialize in the "science of learning." The 'For Researchers' blog summarizes recent literature on learning and cognition, and videos and downloadable resources focusing on effective learning strategies are accessible.
All members are welcome to attend in person or video conference. Meetings are usually the first monday of the month (2nd after a holiday), start at 4:30, and are usually 2 hours long. Members can click here for dates and more information.
