University of Manitoba's School Psychology program offers both a non-thesis M.A. degree consisting of 2 years of full-time on-campus study culminating in a comprehensive examination and a 3 year M.A. thesis degree comprised of the same required courses as well as graduate level statistics and a research thesis. The schedule of courses was designed to meet the following three criteria: school clinician certification standards for the Province of Manitoba, competencies required by the National Association of School Psychologists, and the competencies outlined in the Canadian Psychological Association's Mutual Recognition Agreement.
